The 2023 edition
On April 13, 2023 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Les Ateliers de l'IA marked its 8th edition with an immersive day dedicated to the latest AI innovations. This flagship event, organized by ILLUIN Technology, welcomed experts, companies and around a hundred professionals curious to discover how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing various sectors, from call centers to healthcare.
Morning: What AI is doing new for listening to the voice of the customer
The morning began with a focus on advances in conversational AI, particularly for listening to the customer's voice. The keynote highlighted ILLUIN NLU, a cutting-edge natural language understanding engine. Attendees also discovered two flagship products:

- Speech Analyzer: a tool used by Chronopost to improve customer satisfaction and optimize call center performance. This product analyzes conversations and identifies recurring call patterns to improve interaction management.
- Voice Parser: presented by Century 21 and Chronopost, this product integrates voice recognition to facilitate the completion of CRMs, thus increasing employee satisfaction and the efficiency of sales teams.
Several interactive workshops on the theme of Augmented Advisor enabled participants to explore these technologies in a concrete way, with practical product demonstrations.
Afternoon: AI and Document Processing
The afternoon program focused on AI applied to document processing. A keynote revealed how the combination of Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and Computer Vision significantly improves document management. Case studies illustrated this technology:

- ILLUIN Search: a solution used by Brest University Hospital, which simplifies document searches among thousands of unstructured documents, improving the efficiency of healthcare staff.
- Doc Parser: an innovation deployed by Randstad, capable of processing massive volumes of CVs and other types of documents to automate complex processes.
At the same time, a section dedicated toAI in the healthcare sector highlighted how these technologies are improving the daily lives of healthcare professionals and optimizing care paths. Somniplanet shared its experience of the impact of AI on the internal processes of manufacturers in the medical sector.
Conclusion
This edition of the AI Workshops enabled participants from a variety of sectors - healthcare, customer relations, HR, innovation - to discover how AI is being integrated into their businesses to improve processes, customer experience and document management. Industry leaders such as Randstad, Century 21, Chronopost, and CHU de Brest shared their success stories and inspired the audience with concrete examples and interactive demos.
