Originally co-founded by 12 engineers from CentraleSupélec, ILLUIN Technology has never broken with its roots, and has always maintained close collaborative links with many illustrious entities at the Université Paris-Saclay, both for research purposes and to pass on to younger generations.
LIAGORA: a responsible generative AI LabCom for businesses
LIAGORA is a joint laboratory of excellence, born of collaboration between ILLUIN Technology and CentraleSupélec's MICS laboratory, with support from the FrenchNational Research Agency (ANR).
Designed for a 5-year period with a multi-disciplinary team of researchers, research data scientists, PhD students, post-docs... LIAGORA relies on strong values to shape responsible, ethical and trustworthy generative AI solutions in response to companies' industrial challenges.
Les Ateliers de l'IA is the annual event organized by ILLUIN Technology, where customers and partners are invited to discover the latest innovations from the young AI specialist scale-up, and attend a series of explanatory keynotes on the state of the art in AI.
In 2024, over 300 participants gathered, curious to discover the latest advances in generative AI and its concrete applications. Experts, companies and researchers addressed key topics such as RAG pipelines, digital sovereignty and the impact of LLMs.
The proposal? A team of 3-4 of the best IT talents from CentraleSupélec and the Université Paris-Saclay createan innovative digitalMVP (Minimum Viable Product) in agile mode in 7 weeks, coached by ILLUIN Technology's technical and UX experts.
This dual response to companies' need for open innovation and students' need for professional training has resulted, in 9 years, in 190+ participating companies, 477 students trained and 417+ MVPs produced (AI, IoT, AR/VR, web, mobile, Archi/Ops...).
CroissantLLM is an LLM developed by the MICS laboratory and ILLUIN Technology as part of Manuel Faysse 's thesis work . This French-language model - the best performing for its size - is :

- Enriched with French cultural specificities
X-IA: the association of Polytechnique AI professionals
To structure its activities, X-IA has called on 6 sponsors, including ILLUIN Technology. Created in 2018, the X-IA group brings together current and former École Polytechnique students with a passion for artificial intelligence.
With over 1,100 active members, it has become a key player in keeping abreast of the latest advances in AI through regular events bringing together academic experts, entrepreneurs and leading industrialists.
