The context, the need 📍
We Talk is a solution that helps its customers' employees take care of their mental well-being and prevent psychosocial risks (PSR): stress in the workplace (bereavement, depression, burnout, etc.), internal violence (harassment, conflict, etc.) and external violence (insults, threats, aggression, etc.). The platform can be used to organize group discussion sessions under the supervision of a therapist/coach.
This is the first innovative inter-company remote group support tool, and is aimed at HR departments wishing to be supported in their CSR and QWL initiatives and take care of their employees' mental health.
We Talk called on ILLUIN Technology following an audit and with a view to reinforcing the platform's security and completely reworking its user interface (UX/UI).
The approach, the solution 🛠
To meet these needs, our team was asked to help We Talk redesign its web application:
Our support focused on three main areas:

- Strengthen the platform's security (important confidentiality component given the sensitivity of the pro/personal issues addressed)
- Redesign the management of user paths, participant matching and scheduling to facilitate the creation of meetings / videoconferences
- Rethink the interface to make it more comforting, ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing for users.

Thanks to the redesign of the We Talk platform, which is more ergonomic and more secure, here are the main benefits obtained:
💪 Strengthening the security of the We Talk platform
The new technical foundation (codebase) considerably improves the platform's level of security (data, content, exchanges).
Data confidentiality is enhanced.
🥰 Improving customer satisfaction
We Talk customers are more satisfied with their user experience (user interface design, ergonomics). The new We Talk platform is more powerful, more complete, easier to learn and use, and enables efficient management of different content.
For HR teams, the dynamic, anonymized and adaptable dashboard in terms of adding indicators on mental health and employee satisfaction is a real plus! Since the launch of the new version of We Talk, there have been no technical problems to report, and employees of client companies are asking their HR departments for more coaching sessions.

The entire videoconferencing system has been designed in the WeTalk colors, helping to reassure users.
The new platform is hosted internally by We Talk, on a secure Kubernetes cluster, guaranteeing the sovereignty of the data stored on the solution.
Conclusion
The overhaul of the platform has enabled WeTalk to offer a new, more efficient, more secure and more ergonomic platform to take better care of the mental well-being of its customers, who are now more confident and therefore more inclined to use the solution.
This is also the case for therapists, coaches and practitioners, who are more enthusiastic about the platform thanks to the simplification of feedback collection.
