How a leading luxury brand improved its VIP customers' showroom experience

The context, the need 📍

A leading French luxury and high-end ready-to-wear company called on ILLUIN Technology to create a presentation and sales solution for brand sales managers and guests at private events and showroom sales, in order to facilitate and enhance the purchasing decision process and order processing for its VIP customers.

The approach, the solution 🛠

To meet these needs, our team was asked to help this player create an intuitive mobile sales application:

Our support focused on three main areas:

    • Development of an extremely intuitive mobile application, perfectly integrating the group's graphic charter, to present the brand's latest creations in an interactive and personalized way the day after the fashion shows.
    • Implementation of a robust architecture capable of handling a high volume of images in a short loading time, and a complex synchronization mechanism enabling the storage of large volumes of business data (user data, product catalog, images, etc.), making offline use possible.
    • Adaptation of the mobile application for each event (including haute couture), taking into account the constraints of the various professions.

We fully integrated the mobile application's back-office into the Group's IS, connecting it to its various data pipelines.

Thanks to the design of this mobile application, here are the main benefits obtained:

💪 Time savings in order processing

Sales managers using the mobile application can quickly and easily record orders live with their customers.

🥰 Improving the customer experience

Greater fluidity in exchanges between sales teams and customers, with the ability to quickly assess the possibility of customizing pieces from new collections, according to customer wishes.
The mobile application is also available offline, which is very practical for customers.

 

Conclusion

Thanks to the design of this new mobile application, the group has been able to "premiumize" its VIP customers' showroom experience, by enabling sales managers to easily present them with certain indicators (images of pieces from the new collections, interactive presentation, features, prices).
The mobile application has also helped to increase the volume of orders from showroom customers.
