What is the Positive AI Summit?
Positive AI is an association created in 2022 by BCG X, L'Oréal, Malakoff Humanis and Orange, bringing together a community of organizations committed to Responsible and Concrete Artificial Intelligence. Its mission is to support its members in implementing trusted AI, while anticipating regulatory developments. The Positive AI Summita major annual event for Responsible AI in France, celebrates its second anniversary with a round table bringing together 100 participants - executives, data experts and public decision-makers. At the 2024 event, Robert Vesoul, CEO of ILLUIN Technology, shed light on the new challenges facing organizations as they deploy responsible generative AI, reinforcing the dialogue between start-ups, SMEs and large corporations.
Summary of the 2024 edition
The Positive AI Summit 2024 highlighted the challenges and prospects of Responsible AI, which has become a strategic priority for organizations. While only 26% of companies perceive real value in their AI strategy today, the challenges remain numerous: lack of a solid regulatory framework, financial and operational risks, or the need to effectively measure return on investment (ROI). Rethinking the AI value chain, specializing its use by business (HR, Legal, Marketing, etc.) and developing adapted models are essential for controlled Responsible AI. Participants also stressed the importance of simplifying, tooling and training teams, while integrating appropriate compliance and contractualization approaches. Finally, Responsible AI is seen as a powerful lever for innovation, generating opportunities in a variety of sectors - from industry to medicine - thanks to measurable benefits: reduced Time to Market, positive environmental impact, and improved customer experience.

nAIxt at the service of frugal AI💡
When it comes to generative AI, organizations are facing new challenges to make AI Responsible (cost of computing power, sovereignty issues, ...). These issues have been natively integrated into the design of nAIxt: the AI and GenAI development and orchestration platform. By facilitating the hybridization and orchestration of models (LLMs, SLMs, VLMs...), nAIxt optimizes performance while limiting the financial and environmental costs of AI projects. What's more, the platform includes a whole range of tools and metrics dedicated to assessing the environmental impact of projects.
